Cookies, explained plainly

01 Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Webority Technologies Private Limited uses cookies and similar technologies on the Lexa website and platform. Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
02 What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, do much the same job, and we refer to all of them as cookies here.
03 How we use cookies
We use cookies to run the site securely, remember your preferences, keep you signed in to the platform, and, only with your consent, understand how the site is used so we can make it better.
04 Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: needed to run the site and platform, including sign-in, session management, security and load balancing. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences: remember choices such as language or layout to make your experience smoother.
- Analytics: help us measure usage and performance in aggregate. We set these only after you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
Cookies are also either session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them. First-party cookies are set by Lexa; third-party cookies are set by a provider acting as our processor.
05 The cookies we set
This marketing website is deliberately light on cookies. Today it sets only strictly necessary cookies, listed below — we do not currently run analytics, preference or advertising cookies on it. Exact names may change as we update the site, and we keep this list current.
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Category | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| .AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* | Lexa (first-party) | Protects our forms, such as the demo and contact form, against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). | Strictly necessary | Session |
| ARRAffinity / ARRAffinitySameSite | Microsoft Azure (host) | Where the site runs on Azure App Service, routes your requests to a consistent server instance. | Strictly necessary | Session |
When you sign in to the Lexa platform itself, the platform sets additional strictly necessary cookies to keep you securely signed in and maintain your session. If we later introduce preference or analytics cookies on this site, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first, as section 07 describes.
06 Cookies we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party profiling. We do not sell the data we collect through cookies, and we do not use it to target you with ads.
07 Your consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because the site cannot work without them, which is why the site does not currently show a cookie banner. If we introduce non-essential cookies — such as analytics or preferences — we will ask you to accept or decline them first, give you a way to change your choice, and keep a record of the consent you give.
08 Managing cookies in your browser
You can control cookies through your browser at any time, including blocking or deleting them — see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. Turning off strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
09 Third-party services
Some cookies may be set by providers who help us host and analyse the site, acting as our processors under contract. We do not allow them to use the data for their own purposes. Their processing is covered by our agreements and by our Privacy Policy.
10 Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a fresh "last updated" date.
