Cookies, explained plainly
Last updated 1 October 2026
01 Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Webority Technologies Private Limited (CIN: U72900HR2019PTC079747) uses cookies and similar technologies on the Lexa website and platform. Please read it alongside our Privacy Policy.
02 What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, do much the same job, and we refer to all of them as cookies here.
03 How we use cookies
We use cookies to run the site securely, remember your preferences, keep you signed in to the platform, and, only with your consent, understand how the site is used so we can make it better.
04 Categories of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary: needed to run the site and platform, including sign-in, session management, security and load balancing. These cannot be switched off.
- Preferences: remember choices such as language or layout to make your experience smoother.
- Analytics: help us measure usage and performance in aggregate. We set these only after you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
- Marketing: remember which campaign or website brought you to us, so we know which outreach works. We keep this beyond your current tab only after you consent. We do not use advertising cookies.
Cookies are also either session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period or until you delete them. First-party cookies are set by Lexa; third-party cookies are set by a provider acting as our processor.
05 The cookies we set
This marketing website is deliberately light on cookies. It sets the strictly necessary cookies listed below, and analytics and marketing storage only if you accept them in the cookie banner. We do not run preference or advertising cookies on it. Exact names may change as we update the site, and we keep this list current.
| Cookie / technology | Provider | Purpose | Category | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| .AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* | Lexa (first-party) | Protects our forms, such as the demo and contact form, against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). | Strictly necessary | Session |
| ARRAffinity / ARRAffinitySameSite | Microsoft Azure (host) | Where the site runs on Azure App Service, routes your requests to a consistent server instance. | Strictly necessary | Session |
| _GRECAPTCHA | Google reCAPTCHA (third-party) | Set on the contact page only. Checks that a form submission comes from a person rather than an automated bot, protecting the form from spam and abuse. | Strictly necessary | Up to 6 months |
| webority_cookie_consent | Lexa (first-party) | Records the choice you made in the cookie banner, so we respect it and do not ask again on every page. | Strictly necessary | 6 months |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics, via Google Tag Manager (third-party) | Set only after you accept analytics. Distinguishes visits so we can measure how the site is used in aggregate. | Analytics | Up to 2 years |
| webority_attribution (browser storage) | Lexa (first-party) | Remembers the campaign tags or referring website in the address you arrived from. Without your consent it lasts only while the tab is open. | Marketing | Current tab; up to 90 days only if you accept marketing |
| Ahrefs Web Analytics | Ahrefs (third-party) | Loads only after you accept analytics. Counts page visits in aggregate; Ahrefs states that it sets no cookies. | Analytics | No cookie stored |
When you sign in to the Lexa platform itself, the platform sets additional strictly necessary cookies to keep you securely signed in and maintain your session. If we later introduce other non-essential cookies on this site, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first, as section 07 describes.
06 Cookies we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party profiling. We do not sell the data we collect through cookies, and we do not use it to target you with ads.
07 Your consent
Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because the site cannot work without them. On your first visit, wherever you are, a cookie banner asks for your choice: accept all, reject all, or choose per category in its settings. Until you choose, and if you reject, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookie is set. Rejecting is as easy as accepting.
We record your choice in the webority_cookie_consent cookie for 6 months, then ask again. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the site footer. A withdrawal takes effect from the next page you open: Google Analytics stops using its cookies, and you can delete any already set through your browser, as section 08 explains.
08 Managing cookies in your browser
You can control cookies through your browser at any time, including blocking or deleting them — see the help pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. Turning off strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.
09 Third-party services
Some cookies may be set by providers who help us host and analyse the site, acting as our processors under contract. We do not allow them to use the data for their own purposes. Their processing is covered by our agreements and by our Privacy Policy.
The contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA to protect the form from spam and automated abuse. Google's use of the information reCAPTCHA collects is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
10 Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a fresh "last updated" date.
